Instagram Direct will have a handy new feature.

A small menu will open where you can quickly select and send to Direct any post from:
- your Saved posts
- posts from the recommendations section
- saved posts that you liked
Instagram now has Statuses as in ICQ!
Users in the CIS already have the opportunity to set a status. It is displayed in the profile and in the Direct.
The status is visible within 24 hours to mutual subscribers. The default statuses are "Working", "Celebrating", "Busy", "Happy". Old-timers may recall that these were once the same in the ICQ messenger.
Previously, Instagram-statuses could only be made in the Threads app. The other day, however, Instagram announced it was closing Threads, and now the Stats feature has been moved to the main app.
Even Instagram is opposed to you getting bogged down in Instagram. Instagram is launching the Take a Break digital hygiene feature for everyone. Previously, Instagram's time limit could only be set at the smartphone settings level.
Now Instagram will allow you to do this within the app; the usage limits are 10, 20 and 30 minutes.
