The features will be available to everyone by the end of the year.

They will look like this: paid Stories go with a purple circle, paid comments go with a purple badge and paid live streams, notifications of which only paid subscribers will get.  Posts will remain free.

Instagram also announced the integration of its paid subscriptions with third-party donation services such as Patreon.
