The first month of summer has passed and a lot of changes have happened on social media. Telegram is finally having their Premium Subscription (that costs $5), Instagram has a lot of new features as well.
However, in this article we’ll be focusing on Instagram as in June they have a lot of new updates. For now such social media platforms as: Youtube, TikTok, Facebook, etc. don’t offer new features. Nevertheless, we hope that in July they will come up with something new.

Now on Instagram, users can pin posts on their profiles. It will make other users see the most important posts you shared and, also, it is possible to change your grid looks by pinning certain posts (and so improve your visuals).
You can pin any kind of post (Reels, photo, video, etc.) also, regardless of the date of the publication. You’re able to pin up to 3 posts that will have a special sign of a pin.
New camera Mode
For some Instagram users now a new camera mode is available - Dual Camera. Using it, you can record a video using your front and back camera at the same time. This feature can be very beneficial for those who work in the real estate industry, journalists, who work as an event manager, etc. In other words, for those who need to show what is happening around them and their face at the same time.
To see whether this feature is available, you’ll see “Dual” in your stories section when you grab a video.
Stories
- You can edit your stories when they are posted. For now, you can mention other users and add a sign that a story contains ads
- Users can give the story a like by double tapping on it or just taping on a like button next to “send a message”
- Now it is possible to put your pic as a background when you repost something
News for Bloggers
Now on Instagram for bloggers who already have a community will have a new tab. There they will see who wants to make an ad with them that they will be paid for. You can check yourself whether you’re eligible for that. Go to Settings and click on Creator, then Branded Content and then see whether you’re eligible or not.
All you have to do in this case is to indicate in your settings that you’re open for advertisement processes and choose your topic. In your feed you’ll see a new tab “Projects”, you read the terms and conditions of the task, then make it and then see how you earned money for that. Afterwards, you can withdraw your money with PayPal. There will be 0% of commission
